Updates on JD and Anna!

We had a busy day full of doctors yesterday...thankfully just for check ups and well visits!

First, we had JD's 3 year well visit with Dr. Austin (our first "official" visit with Shannon as JD's doctor.)  We feel really blessed to have her as JD's, and soon, Anna's doctor.  She knows JD so well and he feels so comfortable with her.  She really knows how to work with his personality and gives us great advice on any "issues" we are having (err, potty training)!

So, JD's official 3 year stats are:

Weight: 34 lbs (50%)
Height: 38 inches (50%)

He is healthy and right on track developmentally.  We are so thankful!

We also had my 34 week appointment for Anna.  I am measuring right on track and Anna's heartbeat was strong and steady.  Such a wonderful blessing, especially compared to all of the trouble we had with my pregnancy with JD!  But, the most surprising part of the visit was that Dr. Cox was ready to schedule my c-section!  


So, unless she decides to come early, we are scheduled to meet Anna on Thursday, January 28 at 12:30 pm!   I even requested the same anesthesiologist as I had with JD and they got him scheduled for me!  We are very excited and cannot wait to meet our sweet little Anna!
