S-T-U-B-B-O-R-N

That's the only word I can think of to describe my precious son when it comes to potty training!

Yesterday, this conversation took place between me and JD:

Me:  JD, if you sit on the potty right now, you can pick out a new toy at Target.  (I know it's bribery...I'm desperate folks!)

JD:  No, I'm fine.  I have lots of toys in the living room.

Are you kidding me?!  What 2.5 year old does NOT want a new toy?!  And, now you can see why I'm desperate!

Good news:  We went to Target to get a birthday present for our neighbor and once JD saw all of those toys he just couldn't resist.  He picked out the "tractor tippin' lightening mcqueen" and agreed to sit on the potty before playing with the new toy.  And he did!!

So, maybe he's making some headway with the potty.  I'm not holding my breath though.

THAT IS HILARIOUS!!!! I love it! Well - don't feel bad... we were nearly 90% FULLY POTTY trained with Carter a couple of months ago and we are pretty much back to where you are with JD now. These boys are so bad. Today Carter had "Big Boy" underware on and while I was unpacking the car, he was standing litterally right in front of the bathroom and peed in his pants less than 6 feet from it and he wasn't even doing anything... just standing there!!! ugh! Hopefully we can get these non-pottying boys together this week!
