JD's Prayer

I just put JD down for his nap and I had to immediately blog his precious prayer:

"Dear Jesus, thank you for my fan, my doors, my windows, the J and the D for John Dennis, my Aggie baabaa, my blue baabaa that went bye bye, my books, my animals up there, and my friends. 

Aaaaaaaaaaamen!"

(For those of you who don't know, a "baabaa" is JD's pacifier.  We lost his favorite blue one a few weeks ago and now he is attached to his aTm one.  It is the last one we own and I'm not buying anymore...if he loses this one, too bad!)

Anyway, no wonder God tells us to have faith like a child.  JD's prayer was so simple, but so honest and real.  I think that sometimes we make our walks with Christ so complicated that we forget to thank Him for the simple, day to day things that make our lives better.  Thanks, JD, for reminding me to be thankful for the little things and to have faith like a child!
