We have had lots of fun days recently! On Thursday, JD and I made Valentine cookies and on Friday morning JD and Robert delivered them to the Helotes Fire Department and Police Station. JD got to see the fire trucks up close and they even gave him his own firemen's hat! The police gave him a sticker badge that was super cool. On Friday afternoon we went to the rodeo and JD was in hog heaven. (No pun intended) He went to the petting zoo, rode on a miniature pony, and saw cowboys! The Austin's joined us and JD and Chase were so precious together. They spent the whole day laughing and screaming. What fun! JD wore his cowboy hat of course as well as a real cowboy shirt that Uncle Dwight and Aunt Kristy gave him for his birthday.
On Saturday we went to a birthday party for our next door neighbor, Isaac. JD loved playing with his neighborhood friends and of course enjoyed the cupcake immensely. I'm pretty sure he was the only kid there who ate the ENTIRE cupcake!
On Sunday, Nana and Papa John came to visit! They "cooked" in JD's kitchen, played cars, trains, and tractors, read lots of books, and took us to eat "tots and cheese" at Longhorn Cafe! Robert and I especially want to thank Nana and Papa John for babysitting JD on Sunday night so that we could go to our friends house for a Valentine's Dinner and on Monday night so that Robert and I could go to dinner to celebrate our anniversary! Thanks so much!
Lastly, I wanted to share some other exciting news from our extended family...
- My brother, Dwight, proposed to his girlfriend, Kristy, over the weekend! YEA! We are so excited that Kristy will be part of our family and we cannot wait to celebrate their marriage! Congratulations!
- Aunt Cheyenne got a great new job! Congratulations!
- Robert and I are celebrating our 4th anniversary today!

Congrats on 4 years! Blake and I celebrate our 4 years in 3 weeks! Hope you had a wonderful dinner... I can't wait to hear about it!
Congratulations! As usual I'm completely late sending a card or anything. I love the pics of JD at the rodeo. I hate that we couldn't get down for the rodeo, but I'm hoping to get down SOON! I'm so excited for Kristy and Dwight. Love,
Aunt Kim & Uncle Joey
